It is a recognized voluntary Non-Government Organization to help and serve the needy and underprivileged sections of the Society. In recognition of its social service, it has got representation in the United Nations Economic and Social Council. The Inner Wheel concentrates upon Friendship and Personal Service. It is not what is termed as “a money raising organization”, though each Club selects its own charities and channels of service. One of the greatest features of Inner Wheel is the opportunity given to its Members the world over to get to know one another, thus contributing to International Friendship and Understanding.

Ele é um reconhecido voluntária Organização Não-Governamental para ajudar e servir as seções necessitados e desfavorecidos da sociedade. Em reconhecimento do seu serviço social, ele tem representação no Conselho Económico e Social das Nações Unidas. O Inner Wheel concentra-se sobre Amizade e serviço personalizado. Não é o que é denominado como “um dinheiro levantando organização”, embora cada clube seleciona suas próprias instituições de caridade e canais de serviço. Uma das maiores características do Inner Wheel é a oportunidade dada aos seus membros em todo o mundo para conhecer um ao outro, contribuindo assim para Internacional amizade e compreensão.
